Monte Carlo's casino has just made gaming all the more glitzy with their battery-powered LED-lit tables that will come in brushed chrome and trimmed with clear acrylic in order to disperse the light even more for a dazzling effect. Games that are available include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Poker. All these gaming tables will feature a wireless remote control with seven different lighting effect options. Could it be a strategy to distract gamers from the game at hand (pun not intended) so that the house's odds increase?
I know I want one of these.

We Wood

Conceived in Italy but based in L.A., WeWood watches combine European craftsmanship with sustainably-minded materials to reinvent the average wristwatch—in wood.

The budding brand offers up a line of tasteful Miyota-movement timepieces crafted from several varieties of Maple, Guaiaco (an indigenous South American tree) and Red Wing Celtis, with all materials reclaimed from unused flooring scraps. Devoid of toxic chemicals as well as any colored stains, the natural shades and grains of the different wood types shine through for an organic take on oft-metallic or plastic watches

Currently crafted in two styles—chronic and classic—the series of 11 watches include light beige, black and even an army-hued green—the natural shade of the Guaiaco tree.

Watch oNe is a watch that goes beyond of a traditional watch. It’s a watch that will never go out of style. There are thousands of watches out in the world that are unique in there own way but once you buy that special watch you are stuck with the same watch face, same look. So, why not have a watch that is designed around the “face”, a virtual face so to speak. The main idea for the Watch oNe is that you can change the face of the watch with a click of a button. For example, you can enjoy the beauty of a mechanical movement, a smooth balanced masterpiece or break the rules of a physical world and have something that would be impossible with a traditional watch. It could represent your style, your mood and your personality, as any of those change, so does your watch. Anyone could design and upload their “faces” to the on-line store. The prices of the “faces” will depend on the complexity of the design and function.

The physical watch itself is designed so you can interchange different parts with a range of other colors and materials.

Well I got my Drone today and boy do I love it. I am still trying to get use to flying it. It is amazing and more than a toy that's why they say it is not and not to let kids play with it. It has 2 cameras one looking forward and the other straight down. While you fly it you see both cameras, pretty cool.



Ultimate Watch Desk

OK, so this is the ultimate watch lover's desk. It combines a pair of Erwin Sattler Rotalis winders that pop out of the surface of the desk " take-over-the-world villain" style, and drawers that store you watch related loot. I have no idea why it is called the "Thesaurus," but I will need to one help explain how awesome this thing is.



Part of what makes it awesome is just how utterly impractical it is. To have enough room in one's home for a desk solely dedicated to their watches takes a lot of dedication (which I guess I personally have), and a lot of (I mean a lot) money. Not only is the Thesaurus likely to be ungodly expensive, but to have enough nice watches to fill it with, and some empty space in your home that is dying for watch dedicated furniture. At this point you probably have taken your watch collecting to legendary levels. And yet we still want one - I think I need some bigger advertisers

Erwin Sattler makes watch winders, watch furniture, and also watches. I last wrote about the Erwin Sattler Trilogie that combines a clock and a watch winder, and includes a watch. You can see that same type of design aesthetic here. The idea seems to be "neo-classic furniture looks better with hidden gears." The Thesaurus desk is 166cm wide, 84cm deep, and 74cm tall. It is made from high-end aged wood, and the black elements have 13 layers of black varnish on them. The desk drawers are lined with alcantara leather (no slip).

When you want to really impress guests, you use the included remote control to reveal the winding watches. The pair of Rotalis watch winders (total capacity for eight watches) come out of the desk. Another command allows you to active 16 LED lights that shine on the watches. Pretty cool stuff. Rotalis watch winders are made by Beluwo for Erwin Sattler I believe. They are powered by a wall socket so you can plug in the desk. They also have a USB connection so that you can program the winding if you like (for different watches) - but that is optional. Each of the two winding units has its own USB connection.

While the desk is beyond cool, and for the watch lover who literally has almost everything, it is gonna be just one area to store watches. With just eight winders, and space for a limited (although high) amount of watches in the drawers, this is gonna be for pieces you want to play with a lot - and the rest are gonna be in a safe. Another question for some is how safe the desk is from intruders. Hopefully the drawers lock, and the contents inside the Thesaurus are safe from wandering hands that might take interest with your belongings when you are not around. It is for this reason that I don't have a shoe box labeled "gold" laying around. While this desk is incredibly cool, it might draw unwanted attention given its exclusive purpose to store expensive items. Price? Not quite sure.
